As I drove down the sunny, beachside lane, I saw a beach swarming with hungry ice-cream lovers. When I pulled up, I was surrounded. The eyes of the children quickly went to the menu, they gasped in delight at the thought of raspberry and caramel sorbet, fizzy orange and white chocolate gelato, liquorice and fejoa ice-cream and more mind-boggling delights. As soon as I was ready, I got straight to work. When all of a sudden it hit me, the newest flavour: mango and chocolate custard. It would be huge, an phenomenon! And I couldn’t wait to try it out…
