100 wc Week #42

In 1937 a violin case was sighted floating down the river Thames. Nothing special, many mysterious things had been seen drifting down the Thames, but this was different. The case was open and instead of a violin insideĀ it, there was a baby, perched on the scarlet cushion inside. The baby was not crying, instead, it was laughing, eyes watering as the sun-kissed its cheek. One would have thought that anyone would’ve bent over backwards for such a beautiful child, but the parents must’ve found the endless baby-needs annoying so they got rid of it by leaving it in a river.
