100 wc #37

We trudged up the hill, the leaves crunching beneath our feet. The tuis and fantails twittered and screeched in the trees. It was boiling hot, the sun filtering in through the trees. My irritating sister was complaining again, and it went on and on, all the way to the top. There the city lay in front of us. It was stunning. We were both silenced by the beauty of the view. But all of a sudden the weather changed, the sun was clouded and we were drenched by the fat raindrops falling on our heads. Our lovely walk was ruined!
